Kings tells the story of the nation of Israel, from the moment when the last judge, the prophet Samuel, is used by God to guide His people, until the lamentable fall of Jerusalem, caused by the armies of Babylon. The first season, called The Deception, portrays Israel's estrangement from God and the bad example given by those who, one day, were chosen to lead the nation towards the ways of the Lord.
