The novel "The Rich and Lazarus" is inspired by the story, told by Jesus to his disciples, about two men who die on the same day. One of them goes to hell, and the other to heaven. In addition to including stories such as the prophets Jeremiah, Daniel and Ezekiel, as well as the slavery of the Hebrew people by Babylon, the fiery furnace and Daniel in the lions' den.
